 Student Movement 2024/Quota Movement

The 2024 Bangladesh quota reform movement was a series of anti-government. This movement also known as July revolution. There was about 56% quota in government jobs in Bangladesh. It was a great disparity in employment. Due to having such quota, students started to suffer discrimination. The students started movement against quota from the beginning of July. On July 16, Abu Sayed was martyred by the police while protesting. Since then the movement has become more vigorous. After that, the students presented a 9 point demand. By July 24, around 200 people had been killed. All class of people joining this movement along with the students. Since then the movement for 1 point demand started. It was called for the fall of the government. Then on August 5, dictatorial government was forced to flee in the face of intense agitation.
